This is just the beginning... more materials will begin to be staged in the parking lot in the coming days and weeks. The projects slated for this winter will commence the first week of January. The pile of rock above, has been a challenge to come across. I fortunately found a good bit of this native stone on a property on Buck Creek Road, about 10 miles from Highlands and worked out a deal to purchase it from the land owner. This gentlemen is not in the rock business, so it took some convincing and logistical maneuvering to get it. We wanted to find the exact rock that matched what is currently used around the croquet lawns. This is about 6 loads of 20 that will be needed to construct the new walls. We will also be able to salvage some of the rock used on the existing wall.
