With the non-stop rain this summer, we have water surfacing in many areas that normally are dry. This area at the base of #8 hillside (at the green) has really been a challenge. Today, we extended the drain pipe a few more feet to catch more water that is surfacing. There are a number of areas that we need to address in the coming days. Please be patient as we work through these challenges and our priorities shift. We are operating with the core group and given the circumstances, we have a lot more on our plate.
Below, there was a report of a floating "door" in Club Lake. It turned out not to be a door, rather the bridge that a homeowner used to access the island behind the LEC. We managed to "fish" it out of the lake but unfortunately is was so far decayed that it just broke apart as we retrieved it. Wooden bridges aren't very reliable when the water level gets high.
Finally, if you play the "green tee" course, you'll notice we are marking those tee marker locations with an 8" green stripe on the side of the cart path. I started this project today and we'll have this finished by tomorrow. Hopefully this will make playing this short course a little easier and more enjoyable.
