Spraying Weeds


Springtime always brings with it, the emergence of perennial broadleaf weeds.  These weeds can only be removed if the are sprayed with a selective herbicide.  Examples are dandelion, plantains, clover etc.  Grassy weeds however, are treated with a pre-emergent chemical because these annual grasses germinate from seed produced from the prior years crop.  The prime example of a grassy weed is Crabgrass.
