Today we are applying our annual spring fertilizer and crabgrass preemergent. Specifically, this is a 20-0-18 Polyon that is impregnated with Pendamethalin. This has been very reliable for us at Highlands CC for the last 12 years. This is a slow release fertilizer that lasts for for 6 months. Each fertilizer prill is wrapped in a plastic coating which breaks down over a longer period of time and is able to feed the grass for an extended period.
