We are finally getting started on the equipment storage shed at the back of the practice facility. Footers were dug and poured today. This low profile shed roof will allow us to park our equipment out of the elements. Equipment that sits in the rain, is prone to rust, engine issues and UV degradation. The first thing to suffer is often the seats, which crack over time, exposing the foam inside. Once that gets wet, it takes a very long time to dry and is miserable for the operator to sit on. This has been a long time coming for our equipment at the range.
We are always focused on safety around the maintenance area. Today, we are painting a new warning line, required by law, around our equipment lift. The old lines were from our previous lift, which was much smaller than the new lift we recently purchased. This is a necessary tool for everything from oil changes to maintenance to fairway mower reel sharpening and setting heights of cut.
