Pump Station Service

Each Fall Season, I have a company service the pump station to ensure it is calibrated properly, the filter is cleaned and it is in good working order.  This year, I also requested the assistance of a diver, who could get in the lake and inspect the intake which is a 18" metal pipe with a screened box at the end to ensure we don't suck up anything from fish to weeds into the pumps.  If those metal screens or the pipe itself were to rust, we could risk damaging the pumps if something were to get in there.  After a brief inspection, he reported there were no issues with the intake other than some aquatic weeds growing close to it.  That is good news.
