On Thursday, August 30th, the North Carolina Department of Transportation will be presenting the plans for the Dillard Road corridor that runs through the Highlands CC campus. As you are probably aware, during the past year, aerial and ground surveys have been ongoing and that work is wrapping up. If you’re interested in those future plans (rumored to be 5-10 years off), the scope of work and potential timing of the work, consider attending this meeting on August 30th at the Highlands Community Building from 4pm to 7pm.
The DOT will be presenting this information to elected officials on August 8th and the public meeting being held on the August 30, 2018 from 4-7pm.
