Ladies M/G preperations...

Our Ladies M/G setup is underway this evening, getting ready for the 9:00am shotgun tomorrow morning. You won't find a golf maintenance team more committed to trying to create the best experience possible for our Ladies.  Below, Anna Stiehler is a HUGE help in making all this come together!  Stay tuned tomorrow for more golf course enhancements that bring "Let's Fly Away to Neverland" to life at Highlands CC!

Many of the signs, like the one below, were created by Camren Dalton, the daughter of our talented equipment technician, Paul Dalton.  Camren is a rising 10th grader at the Highlands School and an incredibly talented artist.  For the last month, she worked hard on many of the decorations that involved artwork (definitely not my forte!).  I've known Camren since she was a young toddler and while it's sad seeing her grow up, I'm excited to see what the future holds for her.  She is incredibly smart (top of her class) and creative and has the ability to accomplish whatever she puts her mind to!

Once again, this shows the families of the staff of Highlands CC have a vested interest in your club and like I always say, golf course management isn't just a job...it's a lifestyle that one needs to buy into and understand.  The commitment and passion that one needs in order to have continued success is immense.  It takes a good support system at home to be successful in this business and an understanding of the hours and the fact that grass never takes a day off simply because its a national holiday.  I am grateful for not only my fellow team members, but also their families who support their profession.
