This afternoon, the ladies are holding their annual fashion show. While my feelings were hurt because I was not asked to be a model, and I really don't understand why, we were able to contribute by building this trellis at the entrance in addition to some other themed (Alice in Wonderland) décor. I hope you agree this isn't too bad for a couple golf course boys! Huge shout out to Paul Dalton for his work on this project.
In my 17 years in Highlands, I don't recall a year where the Mountain Laurel were more beautiful! As you make your way around the area, particularly between Highlands and Cashiers, be sure to take in the beauty of these along the roadsides. They thrive in sunny areas where the State has trimmed roadsides.
