If you played golf yesterday, you probably noticed the small areas of brown dots on the 3rd green. This is a result of human error, specifically the gas cap on a back pack blower not being properly secured. If the cap isn't screwed down tight, gasoline will drip out of the tank and onto the turf. Obviously this is very disappointing to everyone involved. We do our best to train the staff to be on the lookout for these types of things. Monday morning, the spots were either plugged or repaired in similar fashion to a ball mark. Within a couple weeks, the spots will heal on their own.
