This 5lb 1oz largemouth was caught in Swan Lake just yesterday! About 5 years ago, we started transplanting a few largemouth bass in the lake and it's been tremendously successful. We have a huge shiner population that these bass are feeding on. Bass are great fish for cleaning up populations of less desirable species of fish that can overpopulate a water body.
