Thursday

Jerry and Dave are busy refurbishing our barn wood trash boxes.  Jerry built these from scratch several years ago in order to give the Club something unique, not seen at other golf courses.  However, we have had a problem with rot on the lids once they become water logged.  Therefore, we are using weathered tin on the lids for the coming year.  This will make the lids much lighter and water proof.  The edges are being sanded very well to ensure no one can cut or scratch themselves.  It's our goal to limit tetanus shots this season!  Below, Dave is still a little upset after the Alabama loss.  I am doing my best to coach him through it.

Below, Lowes delivered the porous pavers we ordered that we plan to use on #10 at the bridge.  I really think this will be a nice solution to the wear and traffic before the cart bridge.
