Above, we started some pruning on the creek banks on #10. We also removed the rock dams that were built to contain sediment that moved during the dam restoration on the neighbors property. Rather than haul the surge stone off, we placed it in the erosion ridden banks that will be repaired later this winter. This is only temporary! There is still a lot of work to do on the 10th hole so please be patient. We work with a limited staff that still has the mow, water, blow etc. We lost 3 members of the staff to picking up leaves daily. We do not have extra people that we can just dedicate to projects like this. All we can do, is chip away at them as time permits. Speaking of chippers- our chipper, an ancient model, is down and parts are on order. Again, we can only do the best we can with what we have to work with.
Below, the gravel extension will be paved in early spring.
