This year the practice facility will go another direction in an effort to step up our member service and detailed maintenance to make it an area that is comparable to the rest of the Club. Over the last few years, the golf staff has made huge strides in the improvement of the facility and we, golf maintenance, are proud to continue that. There will be several new faces there and each will be assigned different tasks to meet the needs of our members and guests. Let me introduce the staff:

David Parker is going to manage member service on the practice tee. David is a retired CEO in the media software business and I am excited to have him join and lead the team!

Cody Herman will be our practice facility superintendent, attending to all the maintenance of the area. 75% of his time will be spent at the practice facility and 25% on the golf course.

Alexa Reese is a junior at Highlands School. She plays on the varsity girls golf team which is home to HCC. She will be a smiling face you will be sure to meet on the tee.

If I showed you his baby picture, you might remember this guy. Kyle Gabbard is the son of Wildcat Cliffs CC golf professional, Keven Gabbard, who spent a number of years at HCC as Assistant golf professional, leaving in 2004.

Max Renfro is another great youthful addition to the staff. His brother Harrison, works in the cart barn with Pat and staff.
As you can see, we have a great team in place, one I worked hard to recruit. We will be trying a lot of new things to make our practice area the finest it can be. If you have comments or suggestions, I want to know. Your feedback is critical to the success of Highlands CC.
