The greens are a very nice deep shade of green. This is caused by the consistent warm weather we've had and a soluable nutrient spray that included iron sulfate on Monday. The greens are currently mowed at .150", which allows them to heal from aerification and build a long, dense root system. Next week, we will start walk mowing greens and getting them down to our seasonal height of .125".
Even better, this Thursday, we are renting a 1 ton asphalt roller and rolling all greens 2 directions. This was done once this year and the greens will benefit tremendously from it.
