If you are in Highlands the month of April, the greens will be very rough due to aggressive aeration. It's also a month that offers some fairly nice weather (and winter weather). Enjoy this time of year and thank you for your patience. Understand how important these practices are to the long term health of our greens. Check out this USGA green section video for information on why we do this. When temperatures reach the low 50s at night and 70s during the day, the turf on our greens actively resumes consistent growth. In short, We will be looking good come May. As I say each year, the night temperatures plays the most important role in cool season turf growth.
