Using the rain to our advantage...

With this endless supply of rain on the way, we are using the small window we have right now to get out another sand topdressing application and a Calcitic Lime application.  Both of these need to be watered into the turf canopy and there is no better way to do that than let mother nature handle it. In addition, we are doing a drain check on the golf course to be sure everything is working as it should;  we even pull the lids off many catch basins so debris can't get caught on the lids.  With this much water, everything will blow right through a 4" pipe.   A majority of the crew was sent home early this morning and ready to return Monday, prepared to work overtime to get the golf course cleaned up.  Please be safe in the coming days!
