Weekly Update

This weeks forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain throughout most of the week. There is a 50% chance of rain on Monday, increasing to a 70% chance on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Temperatures will stay in the mid 70s, potentially reaching 80* on Saturday.

On the golf course this week we will be continuing to have 3-4 crew members handwatering daily.  This allows us to not only concentrate on the playing surfaces, but also the groves and other perimeter areas irrigation fails to reach.  Along with watering, we will be weed eating the creek and pond banks.  Lastly, Tuesday we will be spraying our biweekly soils application on greens.  This is called a soils application because after the ap is made, it is irrigated into the soil.  It contains different nutrients, a wetting agent and a fungicide used for preventative control of Pythium Root Rot.  Please continue to check back with us through the week!
