Representatives from Hunter irrigation were on site this morning installing new greens sprinkler heads and perimeter sprinkler heads on the 9th green. With a potential irrigation project out in the future, the three major irrigation companies (Toro, Rainbird and Hunter) want to be sure we are familiar with their products and service. Many times, service can be just as important or more important than the products themselves.
The new Hunter head allows parts to be changed without digging up the head. Solenoid valves and pilot valves can now be accessed from the top of the head. This is important as these two components will likely go bad.
