Weekly teaching facility update by Ken Mattis, PGA

The exterior of the teaching facility is nearing completion.

This picture is taken from the front door of the facility.  The bathrooms are on the left with the entry to the teaching area straight ahead.  You can see the large garage door opening at the far end of the facility, which faces directly at the yellow flag (approximately 200 yards away).  The door is 16 feet wide and 11 feet tall.

The picture above shows one of the three walls wired for the teaching equipment we will have installed.  Here is a list of what we will offer our students:

Video Swing Analysis System – 3 Camera V1 High Frame Rate Analysis System - this system will be used to capture, compare and analyze our students golf swings.

55" Samsung LED Monitor will be mounted over the Face on Camera for the golfer to see.

Lighting – 4 LED Studio lights in addition to the T-5 High Output Florescent lighting fixtures.  (The Cameras will require 160 foot candles when hitting outdoors. They require this amount of lighting to compensate for the frame rate of the cameras.)

SAM Putt Lab uses Doppler radar to analyze the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke.

TrackMan radar launch monitor uses Doppler radar to precisely measure club and ball information for swing analysis as well as club fitting.
