Here is the aftermath of the ice storm of yesterday...it is downright dangerous out there! Temperatures will continue to be extremely cold (-4* Wednesday night) the coming week. You can see a lot of debris down...most of this is a result of the intense wind last saturday evening. I a few weeks, we will have our work cut out for us in getting the course cleaned up. I have no doubt our staff is up to the challenge!
Below, dredging continues. As long as the ice doesn't get thicker than about 2", they are able to work through it. I am a little concerned what this upcoming cold weather will do to us. I would hate to loose a week on this project. With the winter coming to an end, we still need to allow for the sediment bags to de-water and of course, haul the material off site. In short, we need all the time we can get.
