While working on the 17th hole yesterday, we found this old golf ball. I estimate it to be from the late 1940's to 1950's. You can see it is actually stamped (not printed) with the golfers name, L.H. Clay. It is a pretty aggressive stamp that certainly wouldn't be acceptible today! Finding stuff like this is the fun part of renovation work at HCC. In the past, we've found mule shoes, old sprinkler heads and other golf balls. You never know what will turn up at HCC!
