Friday

In the process of thinning out the woods below the 5th ladies tee, we uncovered what will be an attractive creek!  I am pretty excited about getting this shaped up.  I even found a coke can from 1986...celebrating the 15th anniversary of Disney World!  You never know what you will find.

Below, the greens have a greener tint to them today.  This is the chemical we sprayed for preventative control of Pink Snow Mold.  This is a fungus that is very active during cool, wet weather.  The chemical we spray is Bayer's Tartan at a rate of 2 ounces/1000ft2.

Our topdressing program has its negatives!  Every couple years, we have to relevel irrigation heads and catch basins.  Each time we topdress, we raise the elevation of the fairways while the fixed objects don't move.

Below is a maple tree between the 2nd and 3rd holes that was removed because the top broke out of it last fall.
