Cart Path Only rules...

October has started out wet.  It seems we can't catch a dry week.  With that, is the daily decision we make regarding the cart path rules for the day.  You should know by now, we make every effort to keep carts on the fairways whenever possible.  Considering we live in a temperate rain forest, I am very proud of the drainage we've done and how many days we spend off the paths.

However, there are days when we have to keep the carts on the paths.  Standing water in fairways is the top reason.  Golf carts can do a number on turf quality when cart traffic is allowed during wet conditions.  Soils are easily compacted during wet conditions and the effects are long lasting.

Please be patient with us during periods of prolonged moisture.  We never take that decision lightly and will make every effort to get carts back off the paths when appropriate.  After all, members and golfers are what we are here for!
