The hydrangeas around the property are beginning to flower and they are spectacular. I personally always thought Hydrangeas are the quintessential Highlands plant. When you see old photos of the club and particularly, the clubhouse, there are Hydrangeas in all the photos. The two most common varieties that seem to do best in Highlands are the old Tardiva (pictured) and Limelights.
