Weekly Update

This morning we are finally receiving some much needed rain in Highlands.  Over the past week we have had low humidity, light winds, and temperatures reaching into the 70's.  Those factors combined with no irrigation have made it tough to effectively water anything on the course.  The rain today does appear to be moving out  by tonight, possibly into tomorrow morning at the latest.  For the rest of the week temperatures will drop slightly on Wednesday, jumping back up into the 70's by the weekend.

On the golf course we are hoping to have our pump station up and running sometime around the first of the week.  With the course being open, some of our maintenance work will become more routine.  This includes mowing, blowing, and changing cups on a more scheduled basis, depending on the weather of course.  Along with those task we will be weedeating all of our creek and property edges on the golf course and spraying greens on Tuesday.
