During our frost delay we converted the Hudson House flower beds from pinestraw to mulch. Mulch is a much more native material to the Highlands plateau as opposed to pinestraw, which is trucked in from South Georgia or Florida. There are no long needle pine trees found within a 100 miles of here! It is my goal to one day convert the entire golf course to mulch as well. With the landscaping of the new LEC right around the corner, I wanted to tie the Hudson House into that theme as well.
