Above and below are two great plants that most members never get to appreciate because they bloom early. Above, creeping phlox drapes over our original 1928 wall on Hwy 106. What a beautiful sight that seems to end late April.
Below, is a Kwanzan Cherry tree. It has beautiful pink/white flowers that put on a spectacular show in April. However, late freezes like the one last night, always seem to put and early end to these flowers in Highlands.
Below, a poor emerging cinnamon fern was waxed in last night's 18* freeze.
