A foggy day on the mountain...
Chad Stockton is busy repairing creek and pond banks where erosion has been an issue. The 10th creek is notorious for erosion given the volume of water that comes down this creek. At some point, it would be nice to slope all of the creek banks back in order to give the creek a nicer look and also allow the water to expand and subside during heavy rain events. The challenge would be having to do the work during the season because it would be necessary to get turf established and rooted on the banks quickly. Otherwise, we would have a mess on our hands if it rained hard and washed all of our sod away.
With the golf course clean up finally complete, the staff is working on putting out pinestraw. It is great to see the course coming together. Monday will be an exciting day with the delivery and setup of our new pumpstation.
