We are knocking out quite a bit of extensive drainage improvements on holes 6,9,10,11 and 12. We are hoping to finish up with the trencher work before the snow really sets in. They are calling for 1-3" of snow in Highlands with a majority of it staying south. The key to good drainage is deep trenches in order to lower the effective water table (ground water) and properly installed catch basins to collect surface water. The drains are then diverted to the closest creek or other outlet.
