Monday

Yesterday afternoon, with the golf course officially closed for the season, we started our annual greens aerification.  We are using 5/8" tines on a 2" x 1.5" spacing.  This is one of 4 different aerification processes we do every year. 

 
On the 4th hole, we removed numerous dead white pine trunks down in the "corner" of the hole.  This is a project I have been wanting to complete for a number of years but always fell to the back burner because there was greater priorities.
