Golf Course Work

With great weather this week we have been able to get a ton done on the course.  Monday we spiked greens followed by a light sand topdressing.  Tuesday we aerified some minor wet spots in our fairways.  These had occurred due to the large amount of rain we have had this season.  This process will help those areas dry and heal much quicker. 

 

Lastly we finished up edging and depth checking our bunkers.  With so much rain, sands can shift or wash from the bunker face ending up in the center.  This is why once every 2 weeks we will check the depths of all the bunkers on the course.  Along with that we edge them and pull any weeds as well.
