This past weekend, we received another 2.5" of rain. This morning we are making another Pythium Root Rot application. As I said in previous posts, the window of protection we are getting from fungicides is very short because of all this rain. Therefore, our interval of fungicide applications went from every 14 days to every 9-10 days. While our fungicide budget may take a hit, it is nothing compared to the cost of suffering from Pythium damage. I must say, I am very pleased with the condition of the greens given the amount of rain we have had and also the reduced sunlight. We have had over 25" of rain in the last 3 weeks!
