You may notice some small burned areas on the fairways. This is a result of our fairway sprayer foam marker, that burned some turf. When we spray fairways, the sprayer drops a small pile of foam every 20ft so you can see your last pass when the operator turns around.
On Friday, we were pressed to spray all 18 fairways because a common turf disease, dollar spot, started creeping up on us. If I waited to Monday, the damage would have been unacceptable. Therefore, with a busy golf schedule, Chad worked through the day until 8pm to get them sprayed. The foam sitting on the turf for prolonged periods acts like a magnifying glass and burns the turf. This will recover shortly and no need to be concerned.
