Water bubbles

The picture below is a pretty interesting sight.  With as much rain as we have received water can puddle or back up underground raising the turf as you see below.  However, after further inspection, one off the irrigation heads on the 1st fairway is leaking.  This is an example of one of our large single row irrigation heads that waters fairways and rough all in one pass.  It is very inefficient and can make for a very wet fairway in order to water the rough.  A new irrigation system will certainly help us manage water more efficiently.
