Going into the LEC this afternoon, I snapped this picture of Poa annua growing in the cracks of the pavers on the walkway. This just proves to you how adaptable Poa annua is. It can live in a variety of environments and will survive with no trouble. Now consider a putting green that is intensely managed with vast nutrients and a perfect rootzone...you can begin to understand why this grass is so hard to control.
