Today we are starting to topdress our fairways. Topdressing is one of the most beneficial practices you can perform on a golf course, upon completion of aerification we now will go around and topdress most if not all of our fairways. Not only will this help in smoothing bumps or imperfections on the surface but also greatly improve the soil overtime, resulting in better drainage, and improved firmness for ball roll to name a few. Below is the root zone mix we removed during reconstruction of the putting green. This material is great for topdressing tees, approaches, and fairways along with providing a great cost savings also.
