Just had another great meeting with David Taylor, my consulting Gardener. We finalized the list of crops to be grown. David is going to start seeds in his greenhouse and on March 1st, we will be planting our 'cool weather' crops. They include:
Spring Mix lettuce, Spinach, Arugula, Romaine Lettuce, Kale blend, multicolor chard, gold beets, chioggia beets, red beets, white beets, chippolini onions, colored carrots, baby turnips, french radish and colored round radish.
After mother's day, we will plant the remainder of crops:
cherry tomatoes, scarlett runner beans, basil, English cucumbers, bronze and green leaf fennel, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, cutting celery, thyme, mint and dill.
