Message from the Green Committee

Dear Members:
On behalf of the Green Committee and our members ,we want to thank the outstanding job our maintenance crew has accomplished this Fall. Brian Stiehler and his staff have far exceeded our goals.
The work on the eleventh green is now complete and the putting green is in it's final stages.
The Green Committee working with the golf committee recommended to the Board of Directors this summer to allow access to the tenth fairway for cart traffic. The Board approved this action. What was needed to finalize the allowing of carts on the fairway was a way of controlling traffic. We could not have carts doubling back on lay up shots or on member drives. This would slow up play and could be dangerous. After meeting with our architect, a bridge was recommended and a location was selected. The bridge is now finished and ready for use this season.
The Green Committee may, on occasion, have to control cart traffic because of wet conditions and cart wear on the fairway. A gate system, like other fairways, will be used for entry to the fairway and the exit will be the new bridge. When the gate is closed, carts will be restricted to the cart path.
We feel this new action will speed up play and make the hole more enjoyable for our members.
The Green Committee wants to wish our members a wonderful Holiday Season.
Respectfully Submitted,
