With a 70% chance of rain in the forecast, we are finishing up our 2nd crabgrass pre-emergent application and also our grub control. With all the banks and uneven terrain, this process is labor intensive and hard work! Both of these products need to be watered into the soil and that is why we are doing this with rain in the forecast. It would be a bit risky without it, given the poor coverage of our 20 year old plus irrigation system.
