I was reminded today that 1" of rain over an acre of land is 27,155 gallons of water. This means that this month, we received the equivalent of 39,103,200 gallons of water! To put this into perspective, a heavy irrigation cycle at Highlands CC distributes approximately 250,000 gallons of water.
