I spent the day with David Stone, the Superintendent at the Honors Course in Chattanooga, TN. David is a veteran super who has been there for 30+ years. He likes to experiment, and has close to 1 acre worth of turfgrass test plots next to his maintenance facility. Like any business, networking is extremely important as a superintendent and I learn more and more from talking to my fellow colleagues in the business.
