As Happoldt made his rounds this morning we came across the largest divot of the season, a crisp 12” long, 2” deep slab of Bentgrass that Hap immediately thought resembled the sod that was installed on the 2nd and 17th tee boxes last week. He was so impressed by it, he placed his ball by it as a visual reference for size and asked to have his photo taken. Our thoughts go out to the person’s wrists who created said divot.
