On the 1st hole, at the walk bridge, the Cotoneaster that once grew on either side of the steps died as a result of winter injury. This is one of those strange areas that doesn't appear to be Club property but it actually is. Once we can remove the root system left behind by the shrubs, we will be replanting the area with something native. Billy Brooks, who did the cutting, reported that over 50 golf balls were found resting below the shrubs that were removed!
